The new model of the Receptor cable stand consists of four discs made of a hard wooden composite with a soft material between them and on the bottom. In the middle there is a ball made of very hard exotic wood. The cable is weighted down with a bag with lead shot weighing 1 kg. In total, there are 9 layers of 4 anti-vibration materials with different hardnesses to dampen other vibration frequencies. Each of them was carefully selected from many materials by listening tests.

The stands work with both signal cables (loudspeakers and interconnects) and power cables.

The stand works in several ways:

1. moves the cable away from the floor, which prevents deformation of the electromagnetic field around the cable

2. prevents the collection of electrostatic charges on the floor surface

3. isolates the cable from ground vibrations

4. absorbs the vibration of the cable itself

5. top weight dampens cable vibration and strengthens the anti-vibration effect of the base layers
